CrookedVox

Speak. It types.

CrookedVox

I kept catching myself preferring to speak a thought rather than type it. Then the annoying part starts: the transcript still needs cleaning, fixing, rephrasing, and turning into something you’d actually send.

So I built CrookedVox — a tool that covers the whole process.

Speak → get text → run it through AI if you need to → get finished copy.

The text shows up while you’re still talking, so there’s nothing to wait for when you let go of the key.

You can ask the model to fix errors and punctuation, make the text warmer, rephrase it, shorten it, or apply your own prompt.

Speech recognition runs on Groq, text processing on OpenRouter. Plus an offline mode with Sber’s GigaAM, so in some cases the audio never leaves the machine — and offline has no limit on how long you talk.

The interface is in English and Russian. New versions install themselves once you say yes, so there’s no need to come back here for an installer.
